Subscription Policy
Billing, renewal, edition assignment, and cancellation.
Which edition you receive
Order by the 18th to receive that month's edition. Order after the 18th and your subscription begins with the following month's edition. New members never begin with the club's first-ever edition.
Billing and renewal
You're charged when you subscribe. Monthly memberships renew automatically on the same date each month until canceled. Three-month, annual, and Volume I memberships are paid upfront in a single payment and do not renew.
Cancellation
To cancel a monthly membership, email us at theclassicalsnail@gmail.com before your renewal date and you will not be billed again. You still receive any edition already paid for.
Gift subscriptions
Gifts are paid once, run for the purchased term, and then stop. They do not renew. Recipients are never asked for payment information.
Failed payments
If a payment fails we retry a small number of times and email you. Membership pauses rather than cancels while a payment issue is being resolved.
